Iceman

A few weeks ago I had a big commercial shoot for  client featuring all types of extreme/caricature characters I can’t show you the actual campain shots yet but when we had finished shooting the last look and before a packed everything up. I took a few moments to make some portraits of our model dressed and made to look like a diehard polar explorer.

Although this was obviously shot in studio and the was no real ice in sight. It really really look awesome. So I grabbed the camera and created a high contrast look using my beloved Profoto Beauty dish to emphasise the frozen beard, clothes and goggles.

Sometimes you just see these images that have nothing to do with the campaign and I just can’t stop myself from making them. This ended up being one of my favourite portraits I’ve ever made.
