Last year I made a few pictures of a sad stormtrooper at a bar. Just for fun. The result was so cool I wanted… more. So I started dreaming up various scenario’s with stormtroopers.
The Stromtrooper of the real world needed a car. But what car? A Subaru, or a Pagani or maybe an Ariel atom who knows. But everything came together last october when I was shooting the Zoute Gran Prix for Jaguar. When I was driving around the event I spotted a White Lamborghini Aventador Roadster with black wheels. It was the perfect match for our stormtrooper. So a few phone calls and fifteen e-mails later I’m standing in the Lamborghini Belgium garage in Brussels, with a stormtrooper, a camera and a bunch of lights. Awesomeness ensued…
Here’s a little BTS timelapse of this shoot.
