Japanese Delight

Fashion, portraits, rockgigs and now food. Seems like I’ve been doing it all lately, but you take what you can get right… So here’s a Sushi shot I did a while back. I was given a carte blanche to shoot whatever food I wanted so I picked my favourite, Sushi.

Because I wanted to make it look a little bit more interesting than just food on a plate. I took a wooden shopping board, some chopsticks and even a Washizaki (a smaller version of a Japanese Katana). It’s not really terribly crreative like with the Hasselblad shot with the cakes but it does have that asian feeling going.

I don’t really think food photography will be a career path for me but I’m curious what you guys think.

my advise: eat it and take another path. Your other work is much more interesting … my 5 cents.
